Our Story

Founded on the legacy of the Otic Foundation, the Otic Institute of Emerging Technologies (OIET) was established to address the critical need for specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies within Uganda. Building on years of experience in skills development and capacity building, OIET is pioneering cutting-edge research and education to empower the next generation of innovators. With a commitment to bridging the skills gap in industries like agriculture, healthcare, and ICT, OIET is shaping Uganda’s digital future and driving sustainable development aligned with Vision 2040.
